Wow, what a movie; it is colourful, loud and raw.

Ever scene is saturated with colour and it is full of inventive framing. Everything seems hyper-realised, from the aggressive music and language, all which add to the confrontational nature of the characters and story.

This is a raw and unflinching story that moves along with pace. There is never a dull moment in this grimy portrayal of prostitution in LA on Christmas Eve. I’m not sure there is a likeable character to be found, but it sure is a slice-of-life you’ve never seen before.
