Multipack Presents: The Design Process

Saturday 20th November 2010 sees the final Multipack “Presents” event of the year and if you’re in the Birmingham and Midlands area it is an event you should not miss. The topic of the event is “The Design Process” and features three presentations, all from highly talented Multipack regulars.

Paul Lloyd’s will talk about styleguides, a topic close to his heart especially with regard to the BBC’s “Gelled” guidelines, in his presentation “Styleguides for the Web”. One Black Bear’s very own Gareth Brown will give you practical tips on “Wireframing & A/B Testing” your websites and applications. Finally, Andy Higgs will inspire you and hopefully teach you some tips ‘n tricks which will speed up your designing in his talk “Improve Your Image: Photoshop Techniques”.

Graciously hosted at One Black Bear’s beautiful offices in the centre of Birmingham, the event is free to attend, and thanks to sponsorship from Campaign Monitor there will be food and drink to keep you fueled up. This means that if you’re interested in all things “web” you have no excuse not to attend! We meet beforehand at the Old Crown pub in Digbeth for lunch, a pint and a chat at 2pm.

You can find out more information on the Multipack website, follow the group on Twitter (@multipack) and sign up your attendance on Lanyrd, Upcoming or Facebook. You can even follow each of the speakers on Twitter (@paulrobertlloyd, @gaznet, @aajhiggs).
