Well, it was announced today the distribution method of Microsoft's forthcoming browser update: IE7… and it will be via Automatic Updates.

To help our customers become more secure and up-to-date, we will distribute IE7 as a high-priority update via Automatic Updates (AU) shortly after the final version is released for Windows XP, planned for the fourth quarter of this year.

IE7 is good news for web developers, as it has a lot better CSS support, and encouraging the upgrade is the best I could have hoped for, as uptake will be a lot quicker and higher.
