Ok, here’s a little update because I’m busy on a new little web venture (more to come soon hopefully).

Your Linguistic Profile is one of those silly little web tests. These test are supposed to tell you so much about your character from random questions. This one tells you “what kind of american english you speak”. Well, here are my results

45% General American English, 30% Yankee, 15% Dixie, 5% Midwestern and 0% Upper Midwestern. Whatever that means!

Warning: I am in the process of migrating to a new system. The blog should still function but there might be some funkyness in certain places.

70% General American English | 15% Dixie | 15% Yankee | 0% Midwestern | 0% Upper Midwestern

I agree with it for the most part. Growing up in Florida, I wouldn’t expect to have much of a Southern accent.

I wish there were more ‘none of the aboves’ because I used none of the suggested phrases in some questions. Do they not have shopping trolleys in the US?
