It’s been a bit chilly over the last few days, but not too bad. Today, like every Thursday, everyone in our house heads out in Mike’s old car to get a weekly shop. Today we headed over to Tescos. I think, ah we’re only going from house to car to shop to car to house, so I only had a t-shirt on. Ok, it was cold in the car, but not too bad in the supermarket (except round the frozen section). We pack up the car in the rain and head back home… we get half way back and the car starts spluttering… and dies in the second lane of a busy main street at rush hour time. Now, Bradford drivers are bad enough at the best of times, but we had to push the car off the main road through them all! The rain had now changed to snow! We pushed the car to a side and hid under a carpark. The road side assistance arrived just over an hour later, and we eventually got home about two hours later. I was quite cold after being stood around in the snow in a t-shirt, but at least the milk didn’t go off!!
