Studies show that 5%-8% of males are born with some type of colour blindness, which is as high as 1 in 12. The most common types of colour blindness are protans, who find red hues difficult, and deutans, who find green hues difficult to distinguish between other colours.
I have found a nice tool which shows you websites through the “eyes” of people with these two specific types of colour blindness.
- View Trovster.com through a Deutanopia filter
- View Trovster.com through a Protanopia filter
- View Trovster.com through a Monochrome filter
Check your website through the eyes of a colour blind person using the Colorblind Web Page Filter tool.
