Guest Speaker On Accessibility

I can’t believe it. I’m in shock. I have been asked to speak on a course on web accessibility in London on Thursday 15th July!

David Travis, a member of the Guild of Accessible Web Designers (GAWDs) contacted me regarding my web standards-based, highly accessible Vodafone page. He is part of Userfocus a management consultancy specialising in the customer experience which operates in the UK, Europe and the US.

He wanted to use my redesign as an example that accessible websites don’t have to be just text based and not exciting, in a course entitled Web Accessibility. Of course I accepted, as I’m ecstatic that he wants to showcase my code, and I will be travelling down to London to attend the course and discuss my accessibility implentations and web development.

Warning: I am in the process of migrating to a new system. The blog should still function but there might be some funkyness in certain places.

This will be fixed soon.
