Well, a slightly cryptic title, but the final release of Firefox 1.5 has finally been put up on the FTP servers. See 1.5, Firefox + Fire… ah, you get it… Although, there isn’t an offcial release announcement on the Mozilla homepage, expect it within a few hours. You what? Solar-powered curtains… are you people insane? Recently Google announced that with their Adsense program you are able to make money, albeit $1 per referral, by switching folks over to Firefox. The Firefox version you get is bundled with the official Google Toolbar, but that’s not really a bad thing. Here is a new potential web technology, eXplosive Markup Language, aka XML. Here’s a basic example of use: XML can be used with CSS to add spice to the language, here’s an example: bomb { display: relative; visibility: hidden; timer: ticking; } Just make sure your XML is well-formed to guarantee its usefullness.
